IndianVillage.com was started in 1998 as an informational site about the Native American Way of life, arts, culture and history. We have gone through a lot of changes. We will keep trying to expand this information base year by year.

The Hartman family were all born and raised in the Southwestern United States. We have been in many facets of the Turquoise business since the 1960's. We started mining Turquoise with some of the old timers in the 1970's and now own several of our own Turquoise mines.
We have manufactured Silver and Gold Jewelry since 1972. We have had several Jewelry manufacturing shops and one real big opperation. We have designed Jewelry lines and produced them for the Fred Harvey Company, Zippo Lighter Company of Tokyo, Japan, Coldwater Creek, The Sundance Company and many more.

We have a very nice retail store located 4 miles west of Durango Colorado on Hwy 160 which we built in 1976. We have a large variety of Jewelry there and open daily for business.
We have been in the Native American art, crafts and memorabilia business
for over 35 years.
